Love, Truth, Safety
What is at the core of our mind-body-spirit?
Love-at the core of our heart
Truth-at the core of our mind
Safety-at the core of our body, nervous system, organs, development
I believe that we were designed at the beginning to have all of these together as one thing. Truth and safety were in the sphere of love. There was only unity. Only wholeness. Only connection. Connection to self. Connection to others. Connection to God. Connection to the earth, the land, the animals, the plants. There was no division, no separation. What we did and said and thought and believed and how we behaved was all unified within love, truth, and safety. However, I believe over time, that there has been division and separation and fragmentation. Now the world is so disconnected. In so many different ways.
Keys to Better Health and Wholeness
If we are disconnected from our core of love, truth, and safety, then what do we need to do?
We need to learn what love, truth, and safety, really mean and grow towards them.
We need to learn the ways we disconnect from love, truth, and safety
We need to learn the ways we connect to love, truth, and safety
From a Biblical Perspective
I don't believe we can achieve wholeness without God and without the Bible. In my opinion this love, truth, and safety, could be referred to in general terms all together as "light". This would be basically the essence of the Bible word for "spirit." This is our essence as flesh and blood creatures, designed in the image of the Creator and his son.
1 John 4:7,8-"Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love."
Genesis 1:26-"Then God said: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness..."
Matthew 22:35-40-"And one of them, versed in the Law, tested him by asking: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.”John 1:9-"The true light that gives light to every sort of man was about to come into the world."
